The record weeder in the Netherlands cleared nearly 195 hectares on a single sugar beet field through repeated passes. And the night shifter, also French, worked 420 hours in the dark, between 6pm and 6am, with zero operator involvement.

The second winner of our Photo Competition 2026 has now been selected in the Weeding category.
The winning photo was submitted by Hubert Spanischberger from Austria and stood out for showing the FD20 actively at work mid-operation, surrounded by clean, well-maintained rows of black cumin with no visible weed pressure. Hubert also shared an after photo of the same field later in the season, a clear illustration of what consistent mechanical weeding actually produces.
