Sales/Marketing Representative Position for Ontario and Maritimes

Frontlink Inc. is an innovative Canadian family owned and operated company that imports and markets state of the art European Farm Machinery for Dealerships and Farmers alike across Canada. We are currently looking for a very self motivated person who wants to be on the leading edge of new farming efficiencies/technologies.

Candidate Position Involves:

  • A passion for the agriculture industry
  • Dedicated customer service and consultative marketing skills. Build personal relationships with dealers, sales personnel and farmers (Frontlink sells Retail and Wholesale)
  • Grow sales and market share
  • Attend dealers’ and farmer’s open houses, field days and sales training sessions
  • Attend shows and travel alone within AOR
  • Visit all dealers and farmers who have purchased a unit, a minimum of 1 time per year (Good bonding with customers is an asset)
  • Continuously prospect throughout all of Ontario including a minimum of 3 trips to the Maritime provinces per annum. Exhibitions/Conventions in addition
  • Must be diligent with sending out quotes to dealers and farmers in software system
  • In peak season’s work longer hours to help with setup of Frontlink sold equipment and demo’s etc.
  • Assist with parts, service and warranty department as needed
  • Work Saturdays when needed
  • Email and mail product update information to dealers and farmers regularly with updated new pamphlets and product launches
  • Receive company training on Frontlink current products with Frontlink suppliers and for any other future brands that may be added on
  • Individual would be in charge of their own prospecting and shows itineraries including coordinating freighting of equipment to and from shows, all in close collaboration with Sales Manager.
  • Maintain a valid passport
  • Must have a Valid G license or equivalent

Skills Required

  • Speak fluent English
  • Individual needs a high degree of sales skills and motivational skills
  • In-field setup with dealers and farmers is a must (hands on approach). Knowledge of mechanics is an asset
  • Must be a very responsible individual, and a forward thinker. Leadership skills would be an asset
  • Very diligent on follow-ups with dealers and farmers
  • Punctuality
  • Very organized
  • Knowledge of mathematics
  • Memorization skills
