The first winner of our Photo Competition 2026 has now been selected in the Seeding category.
The winning photo was submitted by Ste Evans from the UK and stood out for its storytelling, atmosphere, and great capture of FarmDroid robots actively seeding during a busy period in the field.
A big thank you to everyone who has already shared photos with us. We have received many great submissions from farmers across Europe, and it is fantastic to see the FarmDroid community sharing moments from everyday field work.
FarmDroid FD20s are currently working in fields across Europe in a wide range of crops including sugar beet, onions, lentils, flowers, sorghum, and many more.
Every farm is different. Soil types, weather conditions, crops, and farming practices all vary. But the goal stays the same: precise seeding, continuous weeding, and reducing manual work in the field.
In our latest blog article, we take a closer look at how FarmDroid adapts to different crops and growing conditions across Europe and what that means in practice for farmers.
FarmDroid robots are working in fields across Europe and beyond, and we love seeing the moments you capture along the way πΈπ±
Our Photo Competition 2026 is still open, and you can still participate in the categories Weeding, Harvest, and Droid living its best life.
Category winners receive FarmDroid merch, and one overall winner will be crowned Photo of the Year, winning 1 year free FarmDroid Premium subscription and exclusive FarmDroid merch.
