How precision seeding keeps a sugar beet field clean, from sowing to harvest
The FD20 robot places every sugar beet seed with 8 mm GPS precision, so it knows exactly where each seed sits before it even emerges. That lets it run a first, blind weeding pass before the crop is up, cutting weed pressure by up to 50%. From there, weekly mechanical weeding continues right through canopy closure, so weeds never get the chance to flower or set seed, keeping the field clean all the way to harvest.
